Mary Paterson has made her home on Kauai for the past 24 years but originally hails from Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire in England. Arriving here via a 6 year stint in Australia and 7 years in Aspen, Colorado – she settled in another beautiful spot – Kauai’s North Shore. Her strengths have always been organizational so she has been able to work in many different positions around the world.

Being exposed to a diversity of locations and tasks allowed Mary to broaden her skills and her jobs ranged from a variety of secretarial and administrative assistant positions in England & Australia to co-managing a tennis club and 304-condominium complex in Aspen. Once on Kauai, she got her Real Estate license but realizing it wasn’t her cup of tea, she worked her way back up the managerial ladder to become Promotions Manager at the prestigious Princeville Resort. After Hurricane Iniki devastated the Island, there was little to promote, so she created her own business catering to the elite of the entertainment industry who made Kauai their second home. This developed into assisting guests find the perfect vacation property and coordinating specialized services for them.

Her love of animals, adventure and travel have taken her to many continents and highlights include two horseback safaris in Africa, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and rafting down the infamous Zambezi River. More recently, trips to New Zealand, Sydney & Europe accompanied by her sweetheart Jonathan, have instilled a renewed travel bug. With future adventures still planned, Mary keeps a busy schedule of after hours activities that include horseback riding, hiking, dancing, tai chi, yoga, singing and healing touch energy therapy.
